Whether you’re an Aussie expat with a hankering for the flavours of home, or simply a food-lover living in the UAE, you won’t want to miss a seat at the table for Taste of Australia in Abu Dhabi, on Friday 26 October.

Now in its sixth year, Taste of Australia is presented by the Australian Business Group, Abu Dhabi, and is a celebration of ingredients and producers from the land Down Under. Held at the Rosewood Hotel on Al Maryah Island, this gourmet event will redefine contemporary Australian cuisine.

Acclaimed chef Cory Campbell (who’s spent time in the kitchen at Michelin-starred Noma and now heads up Matt Moran’s award-winning Barangaroo House in Sydney), will be at the pans, presenting a three-course dinner that showcases premium beef and lamb from Meat & Livestock Australia, plus native ingredients such as eucalyptus and hibiscus.

“Over the years the Taste of Australia event has established an ‘unmissable’ reputation amongst foodies, so I’m honoured to be preparing this year’s culinary line-up” said Cory. “I’ve curated an exclusive menu for the evening designed to celebrate the very best in Australian food and beverages, for a contemporary culinary experience.”

The evening will kick off with pre-dinner cocktails and canapes, designed to highlight innovations in the Australian food scene, and premium Victorian wines will be poured to complement the dinner.

On the night, guests will be entertained by Dubai-based Australian singer Elizabeth Donald, who will privately debut her new singles ahead of their global release.
